I am a freelance food writer and have been writing for consumer magazines for over 30 years.
I launched Britain’s first mass market food magazine BBC Good Food in 1989 and more recently launched and edited Delicious Magazine from 2003-2006
I now enjoy working as a freelancer on a wide variety of projects from recipe development and writing, food styling for shoots, editing one shots and supplements, providing online food content, doing local and national radio campaigns and cookery demonstrations, even cooking up food samples to send out to clients. My Book Mince! 100 frugal recipes, won the World Gourmand, single subject cookbook award for the UK in 2009.
